Bio
Even as a young child Aidan Alburo would conjure up stories with his imagination, sharing them with anyone who would listen. He has developed his storytelling and writing quite a bit since then, but the thrill of language and creation he first discovered as a child has never gone away.
At the age of 12 he picked up guitar and quickly learnt the basics of playing the instrument. His early influences in music were Aerosmith, Midnight Oil, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Nirvana, and Crash Test Dummies. His elder sister ignited his passion for music all the more as not only would he hear songs from Guns N' Roses, Poison, and Bon Jovi that she would play on a cassette player but also see posters of them that she would hang on the wall in the house where they both grew up together.
At the age of 17 Aidan played the bass for a local band he and his friends formed and performed on stage in front of a crowd in a festival at the same age. In January of 2020, whilst sipping whiskey at a beach in the Philippines, he wrote the lyrics to Longing and eventually formed a band when he returned to Vietnam, where he has been based for the last 7 years.
